ARE YOU PREPARING YOURSELF FOR THE BLESSINGS?

"Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD. Isaiah 54:1(NIV)

Here are some definitions of the word barren from Microsoft Encarta dictionary:
  • bare of vegetation: having no trees or other growing plants.
  • not fruiting: producing no fruit or seed
  • unable to have children
  • with no useful result: producing no valuable results or interesting effects
  • lacking in something: completely lacking in a particular thing
Are you having a barren life? No joy, no fulfillment, not producing a valuable results or interesting effects in life, marriage,  ministry or career?

The word of God has good news for you! It says that you should burst into song and shout for Joy because God will bless you much more than you think.

Perhaps you look to other peoples' lives and consider yourself a total desolation. Years may have passed you by and you aren't even on your forties anymore...but wait; God wants to get your desolation and transform it into a paradise of blessings!

And my friend, when God promises something, He can't turn from it!  God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19(NIV)

Now, are you prepared for the blessings? The Bible clearly states that preparedness is necessary before the blessings. Preparedness is an act of faith, because we believe that something is about to happen, we prepare ourselves for the event.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes”. Isaiah 54:2(AMP)

And the NLT translation also says:  "Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! Isaiah 54:2

If you are expecting your baby to come, you will be preparing his cloths, his room and all the other things that your child may need; specially if he/she is your first baby.

Likewise, to receive the blessings of the Lord, we need to prepare in expectation for the blessings. For example, do you want to work in France? Good. Are you speaking French already? Do you want a new job and you are expecting to be called for an interview?

Have you already bought or even barrow your suit?

For whatever you are waiting in God, are you already preparing room for it? Perhaps you want a car, but do you have already your drive license?

God HIMSELF says: “For I will make wide your limits on the right hand and on the left; and your seed will take the nations for a heritage, and make the waste towns full of people”. Isaiah 54:3(BBE)

For once the woman was barren, but now her desolate living will be full of people! In other words my friend, once (perhaps now) your life is completely desolated and barren, but God will make your limits wide and whatever is lacking in your life you will not lack it no more! He will make the wasted life you have had full of blessings!

“Have no fear; for you will not be shamed or without hope: you will not be put to shame, for the shame of your earlier days will go out of your memory, and you will no longer keep in mind the sorrows of your widowed years”. Isaiah 54:4(BBE)

The days of shame and disgrace will be taken from you! The days on welfare, evacuation centers, being a homeless, being a jobless, facing divorce, sickness, depression and all other shame in your life are about to pass; and it will be taken even from your memory.  Are you preparing yourself for that?

First you have to believe that this good news is for you and secondly, enlarge your house (your contacts, your knowledge or whatever else you need to enlarge in order to receive your blessings).

Do not let words of self-condemnation to block your blessings. Jesus came for the sinner not for religious people. Are you a sinner? Good. This good news is for you! And if you came to HIM HE will not despise you.

"I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me." Proverbs 8:17(NLT)

Religiosity does not bless anybody. Faith does!  If you claim to have little or no faith; just ask Jesus to help you with that:

“And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! At once the father of the boy gave [an eager, piercing, inarticulate] cry with tears, and he said, Lord, I believe! [Constantly] help my weakness of faith!” Mark 9:23-24(AMP)

Please, do not let this words to fade away, start now preparing yourself for the blessings.

God bless you.

The benefits of walking in the Spirit

Sunday Morning at 8am
God created the World perfect but the time that sin entered the world, the land became cursed and thru Jesus we can receive salvation and the curses of this world will not touch the lives of those who surrender their lives to HIM.

The moment that we really accept Jesus we accept HIS world which is the Kingdom of heaven. We then desire more and more of His presence as our first priority.

We then live by faith, and because of the genuine faith in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ, we can see the situation around us with a different prospect.

Some people are too tight to their earthly surroundings, they may want Jesus, and all the other deceitful things of this earth. They don't believe that if they seek first the Kingdom of Heaven all the other things will be added to them!

Like Esau, they can easily exchange Jesus for a plate of lentils. They may exchange their salvation for some hours in lust, adultery or gossip. (See Genesis 25:19-34)

Walk in Spirit means that we should walk in harmony with the Holy Spirit, and walk in the flesh means to walk according to satan's last desires.

She was healed from arthritis,
she felt no more pain, and
was able to dance for the Lord
.
We live in this world waiting for the time, that we will be reunited with Jesus, but as Christians, the world should not live in our hearts. Some people have a wish list in their hearts and they don't mind in having the Presence of the Almighty One in them.

Those who walk in Spirit, walks in faith, they walk in the presence of God and for them, there will be no limitation, but those who walk according to their flesh, are limited by their sights.

When the twelve spies went to see the Promised Land, ten of them were living in the presence of this world and they could not believe, that God would give the land to them. They just saw the giants (the problems) and immediately the ten became doubtful and hopeless. (See Numbers 13 and Numbers 14)

Only two had a different spirit, only two were walking in the presence of God and they became full of faith that God would give the land to them.

For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe). Hebrews 4:2 (AMP)

All of them heard the Word of God, but only two believed while the others were living by sight. When a person does not walk in the Spirit, she walks in the darkness. If a trial comes on their way, they quickly faint and exchange her faith in Jesus for a plate of meal.

The people was listening the word of God
For we have heard the Good News, just as they did. They heard the message, but it did them no good, because when they heard it, they did not accept it with faith. Hebrews 4:2 (GNT)

People may attend a church for a lifetime, if they do not accept the Word that is being preached, the Word will be void to them.

For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said, "In my anger I took an oath: 'They will never enter my place of rest,' " even though this rest has been ready since he made the world. Hebrews 4:3 (NLT)

What is the rest? The rest is the blessings of having Jesus as the only Lord in our lives. Jesus is the Promised Land Himself, a Land full of blessings, prosperity, joy, health... Jesus is our everything!

But because they were not walking in God's presence, they lost the rest and consequently they wandered on the desert for forty years, forty years of dangerous snakes and scorpions.

Do not forget that he led you through the great and terrifying wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, where it was so hot and dry.  Deuteronomy 8:15 (NLT)

Bad choice! Like Esau, who exchanged all his blessings for a plate of lentils! They exchanged the goodness of milk and honey for forty years of wilderness.

In which presence are you walking?

The presence of this world is only deception. But walking in the presence of the Holy Spirit is just like king David said:

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4(NIV)

King David always loved to be in the presence of God, nevertheless, he never feared a trial, persecutions or giants! Faith changes the facts. God will always give us a different view of the facts. David was not looking to the valley.  He was looking to God, he believed that God was with him.

But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. Psalm 1:2 (AMP)

No more breast cancer.
Praise the Name of Jesus
King David used to be in the presence of God by thinking of His Words by day and by night. Likewise we should not practice the presence of satan by thinking on his words and lusts.

Some people may know everything about a certain singer, movie star or who won the last game, but they never think about the Word of God.

If you seek the presence of God, you will walk in His Spirit and you will fear no evil.

But if you walk in the presence of the spirit of the world...expect all sort of evil.

I pray that you will decide the best, that’s the Presence of the Lord.

God bless you right now in Jesus Name

Philippines needs your help.

Lost everything? It is not over!

When Joseph was seventeen years old, his brothers plotted against him; and Joseph were sold as slave and was brought to Egypt. Genesis 37

On that time slaves were sold as merchandises; they had to stand naked on  public markets and the buyers could see if the slaves had the body, health and size suitable for the job in need.

Things were quite bad for that young boy. He had no money, family, friends and cloths. Can you for a second imagine what would be the thoughts of that young boy on a situation like that? Before he was so loved by his father Jacob, and then, he was standing on a line of naked slaves.

As humans, we can immediately predict his future by saying: “poor boy, his life is over”.

Fortunately, God does not see things as we see. In fact, God sees rock bottom as opportunity. AND JOSEPH was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the captain and chief executioner of the [royal] guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there. But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. Genesis 39:1-2 AMP

How come a naked slave, be a successful and prosperous man? That is the point! My friend, our success does not depend on WHAT we have, or on what we are going through, but WHO we have.

Because Joseph had the Lord in his life; the position of slavery was not a problem for him, because even down there the Lord made him a successful and prosperous man.

And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to flourish and succeed in his hand. So Joseph pleased [Potiphar] and found favor in his sight, and he served him. And [his master] made him supervisor over his house and he put all that he had in his charge. Genesis 39:3-4

Potiphar was an Egyptian, he didn’t know anything about the Lord, but the Bible tell us that he SAW that the Lord was with Joseph and that the Lord made all the work of Joseph’s hands to flourish and succeed. For sure he saw great miracles and wonders through Joseph’s hands; otherwise, it would not call his attention. Definitely, Potiphar didn’t see ordinary things!

My friends, do not limit the power of Jesus in your life by confessing the things that you don’t have, and the things that you wish to have in order “to succeed”.

Do not deceive yourself by thinking that if you have “more this and more that”; you will be happier, prosperous, healthier and whatsoever.

It is not what we have but WHO we have.

When we have Jesus in our lives, HE will bless our ways even if we lost everything.  The Lord is powerful and mighty to turn a “nobody” into “somebody”!

So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.” Genesis 41:41 NIV

As we can see, a mere slave becomes a ruler over the whole land of Egypt.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33 NLT

Halleluiah Amen!

The Battlefield of the Life

The Bible tells us the story of King Jehoshaphat of Judah and that a vast army was coming against him for a war. 2 Chronicles 20:1-2

Then Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself [determinedly, as his vital need] to seek the Lord; he proclaimed a fast in all Judah. And Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord [yearning for Him with all their desire].
2 Chronicles 20:3-4 AMP

You and I will face great troubles in life, and just like King Jehoshaphat, we may fear, after all, we are all human beings. But the king's attitude made the whole difference; while some people get so discouraged and unmotivated with their problems; the King set himself as his vital need, to seek the Lord with fasting.

Jehoshaphat did a powerful, meaningful and mindful prayer as it described in 2 Chronicles 20:6-12

If evil comes upon us, the sword of judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before You--for Your Name [and the symbol of Your presence] is in this house--and cry to You in our affliction, and You will hear and save. 2 Chronicles 20:9 AMP

Calamity, chaos, troubles and bad things can come against you and me, but God will listen and answer to sincere prayer. The Prayer of Jehoshaphat was not a shallow prayer, he was praying with his spirit and mind.

Indeed, God does not listen to their empty plea; the Almighty pays no attention to it. (Job 35:13 NIV) God does not listen to empty words and that is the reason some prayers are not responded.  Examine yourself and see how deep, sincere and meaningful are your prayers. Perhaps you are not even praying lately or never prayed at all.

O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12 NKJV

We can see that the King acknowledged that they had no power to face the vast army that was coming against them. They didn't know what to do, but their eyes were upon God. To keep the eyes upon God is an attitude of deep faith. Normally when things go from bad to worse some people tend to focus on the problems and they end up defeated.

Is it hard to put our eyes on God when everything is collapsing down? YES!

Is it impossible? NO! It requires faith, perseverance, prayer, fasting and obedience to the Word of God. To put our eyes on God means not to be measuring the height, width or depth of our problems. But instead, contemplate the greatness, the power, majesty and glory of God!

After Jehoshaphat prayed, the Lord spoke and He said: The Lord says this to you: Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 Chronicles 20:15 AMP

You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.
2 Chronicles 20:17 AMP

Nowhere in the Bible we are told to be reckless and lazy towards our life or problems, but we can see that despite of the Words of courage from God, He commanded them to take their positions and to go out against their enemies.

God is with you and me, we have to take our position towards our situation through prayers, fasting and by following what the Lord will tell us to do. The Lord is always faith and action.

And they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper. 2 Chronicles 20:20 AMP

Although the Lord Himself said that the battle was HIS, the King and the people rose early in the morning and they went out against their problem. By that time they didn't have Bible as you and I have today, the Lord used to speak His Words also through the prophets.

It means today that we have to believe and remain steadfast in His Words which is the Bible and by doing so we would prosper and be established.

King Jehoshaphat and his people took their positions just like the Lord said; the battle was about to start and the King and his nation instead of panic, unbelief or blasphemy against God; started singing and praising the God Almighty!

When he had spoken with the people, he called those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy clothing. They went out in front of the army and said, “Give thanks to the Lord. For His loving-kindness lasts forever.”  When they began to sing and praise, the Lord set traps against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah. So they were destroyed.  The men of Ammon and Moab fought against the people of Mount Seir, and killed all of them. And when they finished with the people of Seir, they all helped to kill each other. 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 NLV

While the King and his people were all singing and praising God, their enemies fought and killed themselves.
There is so much power in prayer, fasting, believing, obeying, worship and praising! That was what they did and this is what we shall do as well, without omitting any of them.
Are you facing a hard time? Have you poured your heart to the Lord's feet? We shall pour our soul and tears on His feet and then we have to listen His instructions and do according to what He says, believing and remaining steadfast. And when face to face with our worse problem we should worship and praise our Lord because His loving-kindness lasts forever.

Be blessed. Amen!

Don't give the devil a chance

If there is something that constantly talks to us; I would say it is the devil! He is a non-stop talking creature! There are so many ways of listening to his voice, sometimes he can speak audibly, by dreams or on our inner voice; but most frequently by " no harmful" ways like sects, horoscope, Ouijas or any other form of fortunetellers.

Today it is so easy to have access  to any of these forms of communication  with the occult. There are websites all over the internet offering "free" access to the "super natural world".

Although it is "free" the consequences are not for free; because once we give ear to devil's advice; we condemn ourselves to perdition.

Occultism or mysticism are well spread inside of some "churches" today; some preachers even talk with demon-possessed people; inquiring about their own lives or even about other churches or other preacher's lives/churches.

The devil is the father of all lies: "For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies". John 8:44 NIV

You and I should never listen to the devil's voice even if it is a "preacher" who is talking (interviewing) him. The only Word that we shall listen is the One from the Bible; whatever else, surely does not belongs to God.

How to recognize God's voice?

God will never contradict His written Word, thus, we should always observe God's character as it is stated on the Bible: "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!" Galatians 5:19:22-23 NIV

If what we are listening does not match with the fruits of the Holy Spirit (which is the Spirit of God) we should cast out these voices from our lives.

Some "churches" are bringing  witchcraft unto their altars and are distorting the Word of God by means of brain-wash sermons which consist in "demon possessed" people slandering other ministries, churches, preachers or with the practice of the Old Testament sacrifices.

These kind of sect, usually preaches that they are the only ones who can save, they are the only ones blessed and anointed by God

You should be aware of people who claims that only "through them" the world will be saved because the Bible says:  "Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins".  Ecclesiastes 7:20 NIV

If your preacher spent his precious time in the service just to slander other ministries, I am sorry to say; but you are in danger of being a member of a sect!

Your pastor should give you life changing message, The Good News of Jesus, salvation, Grace, hope and all other message of life from the Word of God.

As I have said, the devil is a non-stop talk creature and he will try his best to get your attention. If you are an unbeliever he will try the "mystics"ways  and if you are a believer; you should pay attention to what you are listening and always check if it is according to the character of God.

Watch and pray!
