ARE YOU PREPARING YOURSELF FOR THE BLESSINGS?

"Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband," says the LORD. Isaiah 54:1(NIV)

Here are some definitions of the word barren from Microsoft Encarta dictionary:
  • bare of vegetation: having no trees or other growing plants.
  • not fruiting: producing no fruit or seed
  • unable to have children
  • with no useful result: producing no valuable results or interesting effects
  • lacking in something: completely lacking in a particular thing
Are you having a barren life? No joy, no fulfillment, not producing a valuable results or interesting effects in life, marriage,  ministry or career?

The word of God has good news for you! It says that you should burst into song and shout for Joy because God will bless you much more than you think.

Perhaps you look to other peoples' lives and consider yourself a total desolation. Years may have passed you by and you aren't even on your forties anymore...but wait; God wants to get your desolation and transform it into a paradise of blessings!

And my friend, when God promises something, He can't turn from it!  God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19(NIV)

Now, are you prepared for the blessings? The Bible clearly states that preparedness is necessary before the blessings. Preparedness is an act of faith, because we believe that something is about to happen, we prepare ourselves for the event.

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes”. Isaiah 54:2(AMP)

And the NLT translation also says:  "Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! Isaiah 54:2

If you are expecting your baby to come, you will be preparing his cloths, his room and all the other things that your child may need; specially if he/she is your first baby.

Likewise, to receive the blessings of the Lord, we need to prepare in expectation for the blessings. For example, do you want to work in France? Good. Are you speaking French already? Do you want a new job and you are expecting to be called for an interview?

Have you already bought or even barrow your suit?

For whatever you are waiting in God, are you already preparing room for it? Perhaps you want a car, but do you have already your drive license?

God HIMSELF says: “For I will make wide your limits on the right hand and on the left; and your seed will take the nations for a heritage, and make the waste towns full of people”. Isaiah 54:3(BBE)

For once the woman was barren, but now her desolate living will be full of people! In other words my friend, once (perhaps now) your life is completely desolated and barren, but God will make your limits wide and whatever is lacking in your life you will not lack it no more! He will make the wasted life you have had full of blessings!

“Have no fear; for you will not be shamed or without hope: you will not be put to shame, for the shame of your earlier days will go out of your memory, and you will no longer keep in mind the sorrows of your widowed years”. Isaiah 54:4(BBE)

The days of shame and disgrace will be taken from you! The days on welfare, evacuation centers, being a homeless, being a jobless, facing divorce, sickness, depression and all other shame in your life are about to pass; and it will be taken even from your memory.  Are you preparing yourself for that?

First you have to believe that this good news is for you and secondly, enlarge your house (your contacts, your knowledge or whatever else you need to enlarge in order to receive your blessings).

Do not let words of self-condemnation to block your blessings. Jesus came for the sinner not for religious people. Are you a sinner? Good. This good news is for you! And if you came to HIM HE will not despise you.

"I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me." Proverbs 8:17(NLT)

Religiosity does not bless anybody. Faith does!  If you claim to have little or no faith; just ask Jesus to help you with that:

“And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! At once the father of the boy gave [an eager, piercing, inarticulate] cry with tears, and he said, Lord, I believe! [Constantly] help my weakness of faith!” Mark 9:23-24(AMP)

Please, do not let this words to fade away, start now preparing yourself for the blessings.

God bless you.
