Too busy for God

I can't imagine my life without God! But I have encountered people who insists that they are" too busy" to attend a church, to pray or to read the Bible.

Some days ago I went to a very poor site in order to evangelize, there I went to a house where there were this young mother. Her house is so poor, just constructed on top of a river and when I invited her to attend a service in our church, her question was: "How long it will take?" When I then answered her that it would be around one to one and a half hour; she immediately threw herself in her mattress on the floor and said: "I don't have time!"; and she kept watching her soap opera.

Her life is a total mess, no job, no money, poverty, many kids to feed... and she still thinks that she doesn't have time for Jesus!

Others are not in such financial misery like her, but yet their lives run in an emptiness that is beyond of any filling: depression, anxieties, panic disorder, addictions, betrayals, diseases, loneliness...to name a few.

But all of them has one thing in common: No time to seek the Lord!

Either outside or inside of a church, if you and I do not give quality time in the presence of God; we will be destined to fail!

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. Joshua 1:8 AMP
The Word of God (the words of the Bible) shall be on our hearts, mouths and mind day and night, otherwise, prosperity, wisdom and success will not going to make part of our lives!

Are you facing a moment of failure in your life right now? Things are not moving ahead? Are your projects shipwrecking?
Perhaps you should evaluate the kind of quality time you are giving to God! Have you prayed today? Have you STUDIED the Bible today? Have you worship the Lord with all your heart lately?

If your answer has been NO; now you know why things are just not working in your life, family, career, ministry and finances.

How many time you spent in front of your TV, computer or on your office or with your friends? How many time you spent with your CREATOR and Author of your life?

But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. Psalms 1:2-3 AMP

Our success depends on how Close we are from God.

God Bless you!

Don't worry, be happy!

Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?

And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life? And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin.

Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.] But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all.

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:25-34 AMP

If you live worried, do not think God has the obligation to answer you faster. God will never be hastened by your anxieties and concerns. you're just killing yourself in stress and heart problems, in other words, you are killing yourself early and without blessings! will it be worth?

Without mentioning that besides you live a miserable life, you still make those who live beside you even more miserable.

When you worry too much you torment yourself so much to the point of losing your sleeping, causing gastric problems and heart problems. This isn't a way of living!
The mouth speaks only what the spirit is full, and when we are too anxious and worried we are full of doubt and unbelief! And don't think this person will receive anything from God.

You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil (wicked)? For out of the fullness (the overflow, the superabundance) of the heart the mouth speaks. (Matthew 12:34 AMP) Satan knows that if we can get enough of negative things going on in our mind, those things will eventually coming out of our mouths. Our word is very powerful because they confirm our true faith or in some cases our lack of faith.

"Butt when you ask God, you must believe. Don’t doubt him. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is blown up and down by the wind. People like that are thinking two different things at the same time. They can never decide what to do. So they should not think they will receive anything from the Lord". James 1:6-8 ERV
The devil attacks our thoughts all day long, he is the father of all lies, and he will lie to us without ceasing. I'm a hundred percent sure that is the reason apostle Paul warned that we should pray without ceasing as well. Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly] 1 Thessalonians 5:17 AMP

Our mind is a real battlefield and the devil is willing to fight no matter the price! One of the devil's virtues is that he is very patient; he isn't human, he doesn't have the same impatience that we have. He is eternal and he is just eager to wait. He will not give up of you and I. Not for a second!

Even if we resist the devil right now, in few minutes he will be attacking us again. he doesn't stop! and he is always well succeed when he attacks our minds through unbelief and doubts!

Unbelief leads to sin and sins lead us away from God; and this is exactly what Satan wants! Faith is a matter of choice; we can decide if we want to believe despite of the visible circumstances or if we want to surrender ourselves to the devil's lies.

It is good to emphasize that some choices that we may take is totally hard to come back from it. If you choose unbelief, you will live on the wilderness of your pain forever and never; now, if you choose to believe, everything is possible for those who believes. Jesus said to the father, “Why did you say ‘if you can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” Mark 9:23 ERV

This is a personal decision, doesn't matter if you are a Christian or not. If you believe you will succeed and if you give yourself to the lies of the devil, you will be a failure.

You may have faith but Satan is destroying your faith with lies that he is throwing into your mind right now, He is telling you all kinds of lies about yourself, others, your marriage, your health and carrier.
So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. James 4:7 AMP

Resisting the anxieties, worries and temptations is an everyday task that we may have to follow many times throughout the day.

Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12 NKJV

God bless you.
