Why should we be thankful to God?

Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name. Hebrews 13:15 AMP

Sacrifice of Praise is to thank God even though everything in your life, or in certain areas, are in total chaos. That is the reason it's a sacrifice of Thanksgiving.

It is hard to be thankful when we lose, when we fail, when we reap from a bad choice or when we or a beloved one is terminal ill.
It is better to sacrifice our thanksgiving to God then sacrifice our joy to the Devil.

Thanksgiving enhances our faith. The opposite enhances our bitterness. Being ungrateful makes us depressed; but when we are thankful, we find strength to try again.

Things might not go in the flow that we expect, but if we have a thankful attitude, we will always see a light at the end of the tunnel.

If we are unthankful, all that we are going to see is the dark well. But when we are thankful we remind ourselves of the things (even the tiniest) that the Lord has done to us.

Be thankful to be alive. if you aren't borne you would never see the glory of God.
Be thankful for what the Lord is giving to you. If it is blessings, Amen! If it is difficulties;
He is giving opportunity for you to become strong and mature.
Be thankful because you are not living under a bridge.
Be thankful because God gave his only Son to redeem your sins. Your sins are forgiven.
Be thankful because you are not begging on a corner for some coins.
Be thankful if you have a mattress to sleep.
Be thankful if you have a roof above your head
Be thankful for whatever you are receiving from God. But for the things the devil is bringing upon you; you have the right to fight it back.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10 NIV

If you have been stolen (not only financially), destroyed or threatened of death, it is not from God! For those things you should not be thankful, but instead, fight hard in spirit against it!

Being thankful brings new perspective for the current situation. It is also a positive thinking.
If you have been blinded by clouds of frustrations; ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes so you can see a reason behind all situation in order to be thankful.

"Lord, allow me to see things as you see. Remove my natural vision and give me spiritual vision. My natural vision sees only problems, but your spiritual vision sees victories!"

Be blessed. Amen

The simplicity of seeking Jesus

The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ became a bridge between us and the Triune of God: Father,Son
and Holy Spirit; the veil that separated us, separates no more. Matthew 27:51 NKJV

Unfortunately today many people are creating barriers between them and Jesus again! It amazes me how people build an enormous wall in order to seek the Lord.

Some people only attend a church if the place is a magnificent temple! They forget that Jesus used to preach in mountains, beaches and villages. Jesus did not built a palace in order to teach. His birth was simple just like His ministry!

We have absolutely nothing against a beautiful church, but the beauty of a temple is nothing if there is no anointing. We should seek life changing words and not mere adorn.

Without mention for those that do not attend a service because of the WEATHER. Or it is too hot or too cold, raining or dry season...

Others are so preoccupied with what they will wear, where they will seat, how long the service will take, who will be the preacher...there is always something in the way!

I have read once that Jesus died opened arms to show us that HE love us that much. We should not create hindrances in order to seek HIM. He loves you and me the way we are!

We don't need a prayer room in order pray, a especial desk to read our Bible,a multimillion Dollar temple in order to feel His presence, a highly graduated pastor in order to teach the word of God...

If you have all that and you are blessed, Amen! But if you don't have, don't make it a barrier between you and Jesus!

Jesus chose a mere fisherman to be His disciple, He did not choose the scribes or a Pharisee (the teachers of the Law); He chose simple things because He is simple.By creating barriers, you are just preventing your blessings to come upon your life.

Your sins, flaws and financial condition are definitely not a wall that will block your relationship with Jesus. You can come to HIM just the way you are because His grace has accepted you.

Jesus said: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Matthew 11:28 AMP

Jesus is calling you, simply like that. You don't need any pomp; just come and be blessed!

God bless you
