Who can destroy our lives?

As we’ve mentioned in the previous posting about closing the doorways, the devil will always work upon what he sees and listen. He will suggest to the mankind to fall, but it is really up to each one of us if we want to give ear to his words or not.

The Bible tell us a well know story about Adam and Eve. God told the man that he could eat everything from the paradise except from a certain tree in the middle of it. One day when Eve was walking around the devil said to her:
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent,

"We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; "But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,

God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die.

"For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God,

knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

As we can see, the serpent (the devil) did not command Eve to sin against God; it suggested that if she would take the fruit she would be like God. The devil works always in the same way, he knows that the human being always fall because of their, VANITY!

Adam, and Eve destroyed themselves, and this is the topic of this article. Who can destroy our lives? OURSELVES!

Yes, we can destroy our lives by choosing to do what the devil suggests us to do and  if we choose the wrong way instead of the right one,  we may end up in tears.

Now that you know what cause your suffering, it is time to fight back! God is a forgiven God and he is eager to rescue from your wrong choices. But, for this rescue to happen it depends more from you than from God.

The Bible says: Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you." John 8:11

Jesus can turn your curses into bless. Despite of the wrong choices you have made in life. I can tell you that there is a light in the end of the tunnel. Take the right turn, turn to God.
Go and sin no more!

God bless
